Dawn Waters

Dawn Waters paints with fiber. She takes dyed wool and pokes it into a backing with a felting needle, all freehand without drawing or paint. It’s like tattooing, but with fiber.

Dawn is self-taught and began in 2014 by felting wearables using the wet-felting process. She picked up a felting needle a few years later after wondering if she could create something realistic. She sure can. Enjoy her creations. Dawn is also available to do commission work.
