James Rivoli began his career as a fine art painter more than 5 decades ago, but soon found a reliable professional path that used his creativity. He built an interior restoration business specializing in historic homes in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Today, retired and living in Belleair, Florida, Rivoli paints in a realistic style. He works from cropped photos, capturing classic car 'jewelry' with reflections in the chrome bumpers and headlights, pulling the view past the car, into the moment.
