Joshua Gibson is inspired by music and wood. His professional background as a musician is an ever-present influence, informing a sense of composition, balance, and interplay between materials and shapes.
Drawing from the vast worldwide history of woodworking techniques and heavily influenced by a love of puzzles and geometry, Josh enjoys exploring shapes and pushing his technical skills to the next level. In addition to wood turning, Joshua builds custom furniture and functional commissions. Joshua Gibson lives and works in St. Petersburg's North Kenwood community.

Our gallery is a celebration of the arts being created in the Tampa Bay region and beyond. We plan to enthrall and excite you with a diversity of work and mediums. Join us for A Taste of Art: An Intimate Creative Experience in a Studio/Gallery setting.
Professional artists, Brenda McMahon, Diane Bragg and Jila Davoodi share their skills and techniques as they teach monthly three-hour art sessions. These sessions are designed for those who have NO ART EXPERIENCE, but share a love of craft. A Taste of Art provides a guided ART NIBBLE, for the curious, the connoisseur and the collector.
Three Wednesday’s a month, Brenda, Diane and Jila transform the Gallery into a safe and healthy art studio so they can share their mastery with you. All this, while enjoying GOURMET BITES AND ADULT BEVERAGES! Best of all, you go home with a greater appreciation for the work and a piece made with your own hands. You'll find our ART NIBBLE is simply delicious!
Each Taste of Art workshop costs $99 per person. Groups are limited to 3-4 students. Classes run from 5-8 pm. The ceramic tile workshop will take place in Brenda's Gulfport clay studio.
The Details: The Gallery/Studio is fully sanitized before each art session. Participants are required to wear masks and work safe distances from one another.
A Taste of Art's gourmet Wednesday workshops are perfect for private parties, friendly gatherings and date nights.
Each 3- hour class ranges from $99 to $125 per person.
Cost includes instruction, materials, firings & framing as well as a complimentary bottle of wine & gourmet treats.

Ceramicist Brenda McMahon will teach the design and creation of a single dimensional tile. Beginning with raw clay you draw, shape, form and texturize your own art piece. Brenda will glaze and frame the work. It will be ready for pickup at the Gallery. The class is $125 per person, including all materials.
Class runs from 5 pm - 8 pm
Fused Glass Artist Diane Bragg teaches you how to “cut” and assemble fusible and dichroic glass to create colorful and contemporary functional art. Starting with sheet glass, you will be guided thru the steps to making your own art piece. The fired work will be ready for pick up at the Gallery. The class is $125 per person, including all materials. Class runs from 5 pm - 8 pm
Painter Jila Davoodi teaches you how to paint using acrylics and a 12”x12” canvass. Jila will guide participants thru sketching, color mixing and brush stroke development, helping create a painting from your own hands. $125 per person. Class runs from 5 pm - 8 pm
