In Greek Mythology there are entities known as Dryads or Hamadryads. These are female spirits that dwell in and protect their individual trees.
As a native Floridian, I have been disturbed with the overdevelopment and systematic destruction of Florida's Flora and Fauna. I have fantasized about these tree spirits still existing in the untouched and more primitive ecosystems as the protectors and guardians of their habitat.
Florida has always been known for its fantasies. These art creations are some of mine.
