The Present Moment

$ 995.00
The subject of Buddha is painted on top of metal and includes six directional street signs. The arrows of the street signs point inward to the subject of the Buddha sculpture. There is also a JCT (junction) sign under the head and mind of Buddha. Buddha sculptures represent the human potential for spiritual awakening, inner peace, and the ultimate truth of reality. The use of keys throughout the composition is symbolic of the unlocking happiness which is what  Buddha represents. I wanted this to be a statement on finding happiness and appreciating what people have at any point in time. The title The Present Moment references that objective but also the moment a viewer looks at the work.
