Akiko (Religious Freedom)
The current administration has signaled that it envisions an educational landscape where religious education is more prominently integrated into both public and private schooling.
The administration has expressed a desire to dismantle the Department of Education, while putting forward Christian viewpoints and positioning the United States as a Christian Nation. It has further put forth legislation for Christian- based laws, including banning abortion, overturning same-sex marriage, the role of women in society, etc. This is, obviously, to the exclusion of other religious groups and belief systems.
