Debra Campbell describes mixed media as a 'sensual experience' where she creates fantasy landscapes that take the viewer on a journey. Campbell designs each scene representing dream-like memories of places she has been as well as landscapes of the mind.   By omitting specific details, it allows the viewer to recreate the scene from their own experiences. Campbell's  intention is to make art a more personal journey for each viewer.
