Janie Haskins

Janie Haskins is an impressionistic oil painter, known for her colorful depictions of landscapes, birds, and life in Florida. When painting outside 'plein air', she says 'my personal experience with a subject is integral to my painting process.'.

In a former life, Janie was a lawyer representing entertainment industry clients in Los Angeles. Janie has studied with some of the premier landscape painters in the country and has taken top awards at regional plein air competitions. She is the judge for Gulfport's Third Annual In Plein Sight competition and sale on April 7, 2023.

Janie lives and works in St. Petersburg, Florida.
