This was created during the George Floyd uprisings, where a nation witnessed the brutal suffocation of a black man by a police officer. The nation rose to protest the targeting of black people and the use of excessive & deadly police force. It was the birth of Black Lives Matter. Now, where DEI and black history are being whitewashed, we need to continue to Rise Up, but peacefully.
