Shadow Catcher 3

Shadow Catcher 3

$ 1,500.00

The first painting in the Dream Messenger series was conceived during a fevered dream. My Cherokee grandmother spoke to me of healing. Shadow Catcher No. 3 spoke of the need to always stand in the center of the good.

Dream catchers, originating from the Ojibwe tribe, symbolize the journey of dreams by capturing good dreams and letting bad ones escape through the center hole. Crafted from strands of sinew woven into a tear-shaped frame, they were hung above a child’s bed to offer protection and serenity, reminding us of the beauty in safeguarding our dreams. The Shadow Catcher paintings incorporate this symbol of protection and care.
