Jay Titus - Street Art Sculpture ~ July's Featured Artist

During his degree work, Jay experimented with unconventional materials and the use of found object in his sculptural works. As a high school teacher, Jay experimented with his own artwork, moving from canvas and a more painterly style to painting on metal, while further manipulating the surfaces and textures in abstraction of his subject matter. His current work is inspired by many of the sculptures he has seen in his travels or studied throughout his career. Sculptural imagery combined with manipulated metal rally to explore perspectives on society and sense of self in today’s world.
