Julie Jerman-Melka

Jeweler Julie Jerman-Melka knew ever since she was a child growing up on the shores of Lake Superior in Upper Michigan that she would work with her hands.  Julie studied metal smithing in college and earned her MFA  at Colorado State University. She moved back to the UP where she lives and works with her husband, Jeff.

Julie's earthy-elegant jewelry incorporates basalt stones from the shores of Lake Superior with white topaz and peridot and sterling silver.
