Sue Johnson

EXPLORING THE UNKNOWN

Sue Johnson is a painter living in  St Petersburg, Florida.  She works in oils, acrylics, and cold wax medium, a combination of beeswax and oil paint.

She loves images that grab her attention and paints and draws what attracts her in the moment from both her inner and my outer worlds. Representationally, she is drawn to images of everyday scenes and ordinary objects.  In her nonobjective expression, she uses combinations of color, shape, pattern, texture and collage elements creating universes that invite the viewer to enter and explore.
