Patricia Kluwe Derderian, an architect turned artist, merges her loves in this City Series. 

Born in Brazil, Patricia loved to draw as a child. The smell of her uncle's colored pencils helped inspire her to major in architecture - since art was not an option in the little city where she was raised. 

In this city series, Derderian draws freely and loosely to create the subject of the paintings. From there, her feelings guide her, putting color inside the lines, letting the energy and  flow of the painting speak to her - as it reveals what it wants to be. 

In 2026 Patricia Kluwe Derderian was recognized as Best Artist by St. Pete Life Magazine. She is a talented rising star, who shows her work both nationally and internationally.
